I don’t necessarily find myself initiating these conversations. It’s not because I don’t enjoy such topics but more of how I typically observe how appropriate it is at the moment. If you’re at school, work, etc it’s common to make small talk and not necessarily bring out such deep topics, and I generally don’t want to make people feel awkward..etc. However, if anybody brings it up at their own will any place any time I gladly receive it well and will be happy to listen and converse. This can be a random customer or friend. The biggest thing I believe is that there isn’t much in the world that is black and white, right or wrong. Truth, beauty, and meaning are highly subjective and it is more of value to be able to listen to as many different perspectives I can. Ultimately such perspectives are dictated by so many factors including ones that you probably don’t really even think of- you can listen to a homeless man holding the bible and talking about religious meaning because it gives them a destined purpose and that it will really be alright even through poverty on earth. then an artist that locks themselves away because they are wallowed by their own creative frustrations and negative social experiences talking about how there is no meaning
