Fall 2025: Experience Myth of the Winged Soul
Dr. Louis Markos has written a clear, concise, and entertaining version of Plato’s famous Myth of the Winged Soul, as well as many other fabulous interpretations of iconic works from Greek Mythology.
Read the myth on page 181.
You can also access a free version of the story at Art of Manliness, where Brett and Kate McKay have retold the myth in their article, “What Is a Man? The Allegory of the Chariot.” The McKay’s essentially use this myth as an instruction guide for “being a real man.”
