Josh Hunt Enhances His Weekly Videos

Starting on January 19, Josh will be recording his video previews AS THOUGH he is actually teaching a class. This means you can actually use the video to enhance your teaching or, if needed, replace your teaching altogether. (*See note below.)
Further, as a user of Josh Hunt’s weekly video preview for Bible Studies for Life curriculum, you already know that Josh is a master at writing questions that “have groups talking.” And now, Josh is bringing this valuable skill to his weekly video.
Also, starting on January 19, each video preview will end with a series of discussion questions for use after the initial “teaching time.” Of course the questions can be used DURING the teaching time as well, but by placing them at the end of the video, you can actually present the questions on a laptop or monitor and simply pause the video while your group is discussing responses. Of course you can always simply record the questions as part of the notes you prepare for teaching the session as well.
Here’s a quick video from Josh explaining the upcoming change…

It’s a well-known fact that people learn more readily when they’re part of a discussion about the topic. This is certainly true of Bible teaching as well. And, a good question heightens interest in the study, too. Josh’s questions will add a valuable element to your weekly preparation and teaching.
So, starting on January 19, keep that video running when you get to the end of the lesson to take advantage of these helpful discussion questions and get your group talking!

*Note: As a rule, we don’t encourage classes to use video to replace an actual teacher. In some unique cases, however, it may make sense to do this. Josh’s new approach will allow for this when needed.
