Dwight Moss

Dwight Moss has been involved in Christian education and discipleship focusing on small group ministry since 1984. He has served in numerous leadership positions in the local church and in broader denominational work, including international leadership training.

Dwight and his wife, Zannie, have been happily married since 1974 and now live in Middle Tennessee where they are actively involved in their local church and enjoy spending time with their family.

Since 1996, Dwight has trained Sunday School and Home Group leaders from a practitioner’s perspective. He has occupied the role of Teacher, Sunday School Director, Home Group Coordinator, Minister of Education, Consultant, Trainer, Coach, and Small Groups Pastor. Dwight’s training materials and resources have been published by LifeWay Church Resources, implemented by numerous state conventions, and grown the ministries of countless individual churches

Dwight’s special area of interest includes bringing a practitioner’s perspective to small group life, addressing issues that teachers, Sunday School Directors, or Small Group Pastors, at some point, will face. His desire to minister to church leadership, especially in areas relating to small group ministry, has resulted in many training videos and articles and years of experience in consultation, coaching, and training for small group teams.

Dwight has also authored two books, Everything You Wanted to Know About Home Groups and Sunday School (And Small Group Life) Nuggets and Tidbits for the Novice or the Experienced Leader.

Dwight is happy to travel to churches and associations to train adult and general leaders, to fill short-term needs, and to facilitate coaching or consultations regarding small group ministry.
